Starting from tomorrow, a self-proclaimed Meet-A-Myth Week will begin. The only reason is that the translator here needs a little break after so much Tasso job, that is great fun but a little demanding, as well. During the MAM Week, you will see personal renditions of several classical mythological creatures, from which we can learn some useful lessons. That's incidentally a truly Renaissance attitude.
Just next Sunday, June 14, the usual column on Tolkien's poem The Fall of Arthur will be preserved.
Translations from Tasso's Gerusalemme Conquistata will restart on June 18, on Thursday, once in a while.
